EXAMPLE 1 - The management team meeting
“There are different purposes for different meetings. For us, it is important to create a room that fills ours. When we decide to meet, it is important that the day does not begin with stress. Therefore, we often start with lunch at Wallby and free arrival during the morning. We have noticed that the meeting participants are more rested, less stressed and actually often arrive quite early anyway. It's nice to get a cup of coffee together and maybe have time to talk informally for a while, before the day's agenda begins. Many times we have since chosen an outdoor option at lunch. Cooking with the chef over an open fire is a favorite. Many would perhaps see that gathering around the campfire is a waste of time, but rarely have the conversations been as creative and rewarding as right there. After such an introduction to a management team meeting, the mood is set and the focus is high. Everyone has had time to talk, maybe new ideas have come to light and we can tackle today's more formal agenda. Staying over is also important to us. Then we have time to reflect together in the evening, sleep on the matter and then summarize, strengthened by a combination of full focus and more spontaneous conversations. A meeting is a big investment for us. Therefore, results are important. Combining locations, activities and conversation types produces the best results for our management team.”

Example 2, The business meeting
"Sometimes it is important to have a meeting where the formal can be left completely aside. Where power structures that arise, for example, through placement around a table or in a conference room can be dispensed with. For us, it is clear that it plays a role in how meetings develop. If you take the meeting to a different location, completely new conditions arise. Traditional signals about stance or position are blurred in nature. Our most successful business meetings have started and ended outdoors. New thoughts are awakened and there is room for creativity.”

Example 3 - The kickoff
"For us, it is important to distinguish between meetings and meetings. What is the goal and what is the purpose? A kickoff is not so much about briefings and numbers, it's about community, joy, creativity and building for the future. When we were at Wallby, we used different creative rooms. Different conversations in different places to maintain focus, sharpness and interest. We like when events and places become meeting rooms. We often divide the group into four and have a conversation in connection with fishing, a completely different focus area around the campfire where we drink coffee at the same time, another discussion around the big table under the oaks. Finally, we gather for a briefing and during the evening's dinner, sauna and fellowship, we try to weave the threads together. Leaving the traditional conference rooms and taking the discussion out the door has been incredibly successful for us.”
